The complete guide to your Butlins Skegness caravan holiday
Are you joining us for a fun filled break at the Caravan Village, Butlins Skegness? Well we can’t wait to welcome you!
Whether you’re coming back for a tried and tested stay, or joining us for the very first time, this guide is aimed to answer any questions you may have about the Skegness resort and fully prepare you for an amazing time at the Caravan Village.
Before you set off to the Skegness Caravan Village
Before you zip up your suitcase and begin your journey to the Caravan Village, please make sure you have your booking confirmation with you; either the paper print out or an email (or a photo of it) so we can direct you to your check in point for a speedy and easy check in.
Travelling to Butlins Skegness Caravan Village
We understand our guests will be travelling to the Caravan Village in different ways and because of this here’s some important information that will help you on your way.
Travelling to Butlins Skegness by car?
When arriving at the Caravan Village by car you will be directed to our free car park for guests! Get out, stretch those legs and leave your luggage in your car until you’ve checked in and your accommodation is ready.
Coming by Train?
If you’re using the train to get to Butlins Skegness, there is a bus service that runs between the train station and the Caravan Village. Look out for the red bus, it shouldn’t cost much either!
Making your way via coach?
If you’re making your way via coach, your coach driver will either drop you off in the coach parking bay or at the resort entrance. When you arrive at reception our Welcome Team will give you advice on where you can leave your luggage while we prepare your accommodation for you.
When you arrive at the Butlins Skegness Caravan Village Resort
Here at the Caravan Village we believe in service with a smile and that’s why there will be one of our holiday reps waiting to give you a helping hand on arrival at the resort. Just give them your booking confirmation number and they will tell you exactly where you need to go to check in.
When checking in you will be met by our Welcome Team where the lead guest of your party will be able to pick up the keys to your accommodation.
Please note that you are welcome to arrive on the resort at Butlins Skegness from midday and you can access your caravans from the following times:
- Deluxe - If you're staying in one of our Deluxe grade caravans then you will be able to access your accommodation from 1:30pm,
- Luxury - If you're staying in one of our Luxury grade caravans then you will be able to access your accommodation from 3pm, don't forget your towels.
- Standard - If you're staying in one of our Standard grade caravans then you will be able to access your accommodation from 4pm, don't forget your linen, if you have pre booked this then it will be waiting for you in your caravan upon arrival.
Parking will be available close to your caravan for a seamlessly easy arrival.
Dive in to Splash Waterworld
You can use the facilities at the Caravan Village from midday on the day of your arrival and because of that many guests arrive and head down to Splash Waterworld. So pack your swimming gear in a separate bag and you can make the move from your car to the pool in no time!
Please remember to bring your £1 coin to use the lockers on-site and note that children under the age of 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Butlins, Skegness would also like to remind guests that any children under the age of 14 who are non-swimmers must also be accompanied by an adult when using Splash Waterworld.
Remember your photo identification
If you’re lucky enough to look under the age of 21 then the staff here at Butlins Skegness Caravan Village would urge you to remember photo identification for use at the bar. There are two forms of ID that are acceptable:
- Driving License
If for whatever reason you’re arriving late at the Caravan Village and the reception has closed, don’t panic, your arrival pack can be found with our Resort Safety Team at the Caravan Village Entrance.
Guests with disabilities
If someone in your party has a disability and would like some help checking in please feel free to give us a call on 01754 614444 before you arrive and we will be happy to help.
What’s on at Butlins Skegness Caravan Village?
There’s an endless amount of entertainment to enjoy for you and the family while visiting Butlins Skegness, but to make sure you don’t miss anything it’s a good idea to download the free Butlins app from the app store.
The app will show up to date information of what’s going on while you’re enjoying your stay at the Caravan Village. More about the Butlins app.
Celebrating a special occasion?
Many of our guests here at the Caravan Village are celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions. If you would like to organise one of our special occasion packages, please feel free to give us a call on 01754 614444.
Need to change your booking?
If you would like to change your booking information, for example to extend your stay, upgrade your accommodation or to add one of our dining packages then give us a call before you arrive on 01754 614444.
Catering for kids
With the Caravan Village being the perfect destination for families, we at Butlins Skegness pride ourselves on helping parents cater for their children’s needs. That’s why there are the following amenities on the Skegness resort:
- On-site equipment hire – don’t fancy lugging the buggy along with you for your stay at the Caravan Village? Don’t worry, we have an on-site equipment hire facility! You will be able to hire prams, baby baths, travel cots, bed guards and more at our hire shop. To avoid disappointment we strongly recommend booking in advance. - Baby changing facilities – there are places across the resort for parents to change their little ones nappies and our on-site supermarket also stocks nappies of all sizes
- Feeding the young ones – all of our dining package restaurants have high chairs, serve yummy kids meals and free baby food, making sure your tots won’t go hungry! There will also be crayons and colouring sheets to help your little ones build up an appetite
